Waiting for Rain

absolute redo of looking upward sketch copy

In the slow dimming light

clouds boil

tinged with hanging tension,

water

waiting to be released.

Journal prompt: try writing short phrases about the weather. Describe with as few words as possible how you feel. Don’t over analyze,  just record images or feelings rather than trying to be too literary. Do at least 5 and pick one or two that speak to you the most.

Author:

I made it this far and plan to keep going. I believe nature heals the soul. I love to journal, to write, do art, and music. I'm not afraid to tackle tough subjects. Solar-powered & drive hybrid. Trying to do my part. Earned my BA at 53. And, I believe, it's never too late to have a happy childhood.
